Deadpool - I want to say Life but if they improve the writing, it won't get "journeymaned". I was really surprised it got a second season after it's lack luster first season.
I'll watch live - If nothing else, Numb3rs. I kinda like this show but think it should be on another night. CBS should move it to wednesdays or thursdays and move the ex-list to this slot and make fridays "lonely fat girl night".
I'll timeshift - Life, just so I can watch it a couple times to see if it's worth me seeing it weekly.
I won't bother with - 20/20. Most times. Sometimes the topic is worth watching or if John Stossel does another truth about whatever segment, I'll watch.

Deadpool - Life on Mars. I heard that they retooled it from the preair. If not, man, I loved the british version. It had you guessing what was going on as much as the main character. Not the american version. It was shit. They reveals ALL the plotpoints IN THE FIRST FUCKING EPISODE! How retarded is that? Also The first 30 mins was so god damn "why am I supposed to like these boring ass people" dull. If they don't fix that, I hope it gets killed fast and not drawn out "journeymaned"
I'll watch live - Eleventh Hour. I have my doubts but we'll see.
I'll timeshift - ER. My longest running fave show ever. It's the final season. I hope they pull out all the stops and bring back a few surprise cameos and old characters.

Deadpool - Knight Rider. How the FUCK did this get the greenlight to get it's own series. The recent TV movie was THE WORST thing that ever been shown on TV, and that is saying a lot with Laughlin, and others that were made last year and promptly killed off.
I'll watch live - The New Adventures of Old Christine and Project Gary. CBS sitcoms are more or less background noise nowadays with a couple chuckles thrown in.
I'll time shift - Pushing Daisies and Bones.
I won't bother with - America's Next Top Model. I usually only watch the first episode, the "make over" episode, and the last 2 episodes. I used to like watching how ever stereotype about the fact that if you put a bunch of women in a room, there will always be drama. Make em all sorta pretty or wannabe pretty, and watch the fireworks!

Deadpool - Do Not Disturb. I just wish Jerry Oconnel would just fucking stop making comedy sitcoms. He's OK in procedural cop dramas like Crossing Jordan but horrid in shitty sitcoms like Carpoolers. The other show that will hopefully die is Private Practice. Man, I liked the first season of Grey's Anatomy but after a while I started coughing up tampons and decided it was enough. Now the spin off is all of that minus good characters and storylines we need to care about.
I'll watch live - 'Til Death. Brad Garret and the MILF is not that amusing but there usually nothing else to worth watching.
I'll time shift - Criminal Minds. After Lola Glaudini (Elle) left the show, I started being less and less interested in the show.
I won't bother with - Gossip Girl. Chick show, 'nuff said. How game shows like Deal or No Deal stay on the air is a complete mystery.

Deadpool - Opportunity Knocks. God I fucking hate these give stupid poor people fabulous prizes feel good masturbation shows. Seriously.
I'll watch live - Beauty and the Geek. Yes, Oh know I know. It's a horrible show but... I find it fascinating. I especially like the "make over" episode. Honestly, I watch it in an almost anthropological manner. I can hardly fathom how individuals from either group manage to make it to adulthood.
I'll time shift - NCIS and House. This way I can zip thru the commercials.
I won't bother with - How much is people's dignity worth? Shows like The Biggest Loser, although I'm sure it has helped people... do we really need an hour of watching fat people suffer? I have already mentioned how much I hate god damn shows like Opportunity Knocks.

Deadpool - The Mentalist. My god is fucking show boring as hell. It's like they took the comedy sitcom Psych, removed all the spirit and humor, black people, and add boring ass people you really couldn't give a shit about, in story lines you don't give a shit about, and make the whole thing more dull by everyone low talking. It will be dumped as was Journeyman for the same reasons. It was boring and had characters I just don't get why I'm supposed to care about them.
I'll watch live - Kath and Kim. I watched the original Australian show. I'm sure it was hilarious to aussies but man I just didn't get it and I kinda find pedestrian Australian accents ... well, annoying. That being said, I really hope this series is good but it barely escapes the deadpool.
I'll time shift - Fringe and Reaper. These are the kind of shows I like watching eating breakfast or late night tea and cookies. I have high hopes for Fringe and the first episode was interesting and well made. Reminded me a lot of early X-files before it started to suck.
I won't bother with - Dancing With the Stars Results Show. Need I say more?

Deadpool - Eli Stone. How did this show get picked up for a second season? Is ABC really that hard up to fill this slot?!?
I'll watch live - Without A Trace. The blond chicks is getting less and less cute. I dunno if it's on purpose but she's looking haggard.
I'll time shift - Law and Order: SVU. Yeh, this franchise is getting long in the tooth but I keep watching em. I still like the "gotcha" at the end of each episode.
I won't bother with - Eli Stone.

Fall '08 Predictions - Mondays

Ok, with the wasteland that is Summer TV, here are my predictions for the Fall '08 season. This time around I'll do a day by day comment rather than by network. Also we'll get to see if the Borelympics will fuck up a show because of preemption or grid changes.

Deadpool - I don't actually have show in this time slot in the dead pool. They are all pretty strong in their demographic. Sure, I'm not watching gossip Girl or dancing with the D-list, but hey, the gays and women need something to watch on monday nights. If I had to pick a show, it would be HIMYM.
I'll watch live - The Big Bang Theory. Probably the funniest show on TV so far. Hopefully they don't do anything to screw with it for it's sophomore season. I'll watch HIMYM only because it follows BBT and maybe because of Barney. Otherwise it's a low rent Friends that live in another magical part of New York where white 20 nothings never really have to interact with any ethnicity (read: black folk) unless it's a relative.

Deadpool - I think the Worst week will die an early death. I watched the original brit series a few years ago and it was just...ok. With the exception of the Office and American Idol, most brit ripoffs just suck. Remember how horrible the US version of Coupling was? It was just painful to watch. Not to mention, the 9:30 slot is the "slot of death". Most shows that were in this slot got canceled fast or were just too damn horrible to watch. My other choice, a very unpopular one at that, is Heroes. Seriously, unless they really pick up the writing (because last season just sucked...yes I said it, sucked) this will be the last season. Fanboys be damned. But the show I just hope dies is that stupid Prison Break. Talk about a show that outlived it's premise. It really should have been a mini series or a STV movie.
I'll watch live - Heroes, hoping it will be good but I still have my doubts.
I'll time shift - 2.5 men and just to see if it sucks or not, the worst week.

I won't bother with - Boston Legal. I neither like nor hate this show, I'm indifferent about it.
